An Ararat property is expected to attract a record price when it goes to auction on Friday, March 12. Ararat Ballarat Real Estate is selling a 442-acre property on St Marnocks Road, about 30 kilometres south-east of Ararat. Ararat Ballarat Real Estate senior sales consultant Brad Jensen said the property’s interest suggests it may go for a price surpassing any other sold in the region. “I’ve spoken to our local valuator, and he said the record farm price that he knew of was $6500 per-acre,” Mr Jensen said.
