Niddrie house damaged as car crash leaves three children, male driver injured

Three children and a male driver have been left injured when a car drove into a house in Melbourne’s north-west.

Police responded to the crash at a house in Niddrie on Tuesday evening.

It’s understood a car was travelling along Rosehill Road about 5.20pmn when it crashed into the home near the intersection of Hothams Road.

The male driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One child was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other children were treated at the scene.

It’s understood all four were in the car at the time of the crash and not in the home.

Avondale Heights Police will carry out an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
