Victoria Police investigation after man’s body found in rural Clarkfield house

A man’s body has been found on a property in rural Victoria.

The deceased was located at a house on Havelock Road in Clarkefield, northwest of Melbourne, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Police are still trying to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.

It is yet to be determined whether it is suspicious.

Any witnesses or people with dashcam from the area have been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Victoria Police officers and the SES were on the scene overnight looking in a large shed on the property.
